1

Label Each Set

Labeling the set with a number or fun name helps students identify which set to get.

2

Assign Each Group a Specific Set

Having students use the same box each time gives them ownership to ensure materials stay organized.

3

Use the Lid When Building

Encourage students to build on top of the set lids to keep pieces organized and make sharing easier.

4

Have an Attention Getter

Clapping, snapping, or other hands-up call-and-response methods work well when students’ hands are busy building.

5

Inventory Sets Regularly

Take time after every few lessons to check sets for missing pieces. Students can inventory individual sections to make the process faster.
