Embedding A Video In Your Submission
For including videos in submissions to the LEGO Education Community, files must be hosted on one of three sites: YouTube, Vimeo, or Dailymotion. Below are step-by-step instructions for uploading a video to YouTube and embedding it in a discussion comment.
-

Go to youtube.com and sign in with a valid YouTube account.
 -

Press on the Create icon in the top right and select “Upload video” from the drop down.

-

It will then take you to a dialog that says "Select Files.” Select the file you want to upload. It may take a few minutes to upload and process your video.

-

Be sure to set the “visibility” of your video via the visibility settings in the YouTube Menu
 -

If you don’t want your video listed/searchable on YouTube but do still want to use it on the LEGO Education Community, set your video’s visibility to be Unlisted.

-

Press Upload.
 -

Once uploaded to YouTube, copy the link from YouTube and head back to the LEGO Education Community.
 -

In a new discussion post, use the Video feature to get the video dialog.

-

Paste the link to your video on YouTube into the space provided.
