Challenge 2 Of Dr. E’s Challenges Is Now Open For Submissions!
Published
Dr. E’s Challenges is an online community where users can design, implement, and share their solutions to open-ended problems, run by Tufts Center for Engineering Education and Outreach (CEEO). There are two challenges running right now through the beginning of August on the LEGO Education Community.
Challenge 2: Pet Helper is a LEGO Robotic Challenge now open to all ages. Use any LEGO Robotic set (WeDo, SPIKE Prime, MINDSTORMS, etc.) to devise a robotic pet helper for your favorite pet or animal. Parents, coaches, teachers, and all other educators can submit solutions for themselves or on behalf of their students or children. Solve the challenge and submit before August 17, 2020.
Dr. E’s Challenges Challenge 1 is still open for submissions. Challenge 1: Animal and Habitat is a LEGO brick challenge where users design and create their favorite animal and its habitat. Challenge 1 is still open and running so get your submissions in before it ends on August 10, 2020.
After each challenge closes, there will be three days where users can vote for their favorite designs on the Dr. E’s Challenges discussion page. At the end of the week, the Dr. E’s Challenges team will announce the fan favorites and Dr. E’s Top Picks. Head on over to the Dr. E’s Challenges discussion page on the LEGO Education Community to submit to a challenge and check out each others’ solutions!
