Let’s Get Moving With The First #BuildtoLaunch Mission: Operation Autopilot
Now that your students have met the LEGO® Space team, it’s time for them to take on their first mission.
Students will explore the importance of autonomous technology in space. Their first mission is to design and build a prototype vehicle that can move independently and complete specific tasks on the lunar surface. This is a 45-90 minute mission focused on exploring autonomous movements. Using their Engineering Design Notebook students should reflect on how they can create a vehicle that moves independently and why having an autonomous vehicle is helpful for a space team.
